Invest in the gardening and nature investigations area to create an exciting and well-resourced outdoor construction area for EYFS and KS1 children to enjoy the physical challenges that building and constructing offers.
Designed by our experienced curriculum team, the outdoor shed contains the gardening complete resource collection and exploring nature complete collection , creating an enticing area for children to showcase their investigative skills, examine cause and effect and physical skills through gardening.
The resource collection contains a range of building crates, building vehicles resources and den building resources. Children will be engaged by the unique set of baskets and pulleys to create their own functional lifting system, an excellent team work activity for both early years and KS1 children to master!
The set is completed with a useful children’s wheelbarrow to support children to independently lift, load and transport resources to their desired spot in the playground.
The gardening and exploring nature collections contain an extensive range of resources. The nature investigation resources are excellent for children to develop knowledge about weather climates such as wind and rain using the investigating weather resources. The collection also contains enticing resources for mini-beast bug hunts such as bug jars, pooters and magnifying glasses for the keen explorers! The range of gardening tools such as rakes & spades, hand gardening tools and sweeping brushes will be favoured amongst budding gardeners who enjoy the sensory experiences gardening offers and will feel a sense of satisfaction when they clear areas of leaves and tidy up soil beds to plant seeds.
Children will develop their gross motor and problem solving skills as they explore how dig and transport soil using the wheelbarrow, along with fine motor development though weeding and planting with small gardening tools.
The outdoor gardening and nature investigations will become an area that early years children will benefit and return to all year round.
Resources are organised within one outdoor shed using accessible outdoor storage to support children in developing independence and self-esteem. The store is opened using the floor bolts and double doors, then lift the self-sprung lid with ease. Children will quickly learn how to open the store and will enjoy being able to independently select their outdoor gardening and nature investigation resources.

The shed store is weather resistant and made of high-quality recyclable plastic. It provides a dry and protected space within the playground to efficiently store the outdoor gardening and nature resources and is assembled on site by our experienced team.
The store must be bolted to a level and even ground which our delivery team will install in your desired area as part of the installation service.
