Invest in the Outdoor Role Play Picnic & Camping Area to create a rich, exciting and well-resourced outdoor role play area for EYFS and KS1 children to enjoy.
Designed by our experienced curriculum team, the shed is filled with enticing role play resources to encourage imaginative play, develop children’s language and offer opportunities to play collaboratively.
The compact shed contains two complete resource collections. The Role Play Camping Complete Collection features real-life equipment for building a camp site. The outdoor resource collection includes a wooden den frame with purpose-made cover, camping cooking equipment, plastic food, blankets, cushions and a waterproof rug.
The Role Play Picnic Complete Collection invites children to act out picnics in the park or on the beach. The collection consists of two children’s deckchairs, a waterproof blanket and two picnic baskets filled with plastic food, drinking flasks, children's cutlery and crockery.
The set is completed with a child-sized metal trolley cart for children to load and transport their camping and picnic resources to their desired spot in the outdoor area. Children will develop their personal, social and emotional skills (PSED) and language skills as they create stories and familiar scenarios with their peers.
Resources are organised in accessible outdoor storage to support children in developing independence, executive functioning skills, and self-esteem. With secure door and floor bolts and a self-sprung lid, children quickly learn how to open the shed and access what they need with ease.
Choosing to arrange enticing resources using accessible storage supports tidy-up time routines and promotes responsibility.
The compact shed is weather resistant and made of high-quality recyclable plastic. It provides a dry and protected space within the outdoor classroom to efficiently store the outdoor role play resources and it will be assembled on site by our experienced team.

The Compact Store is assembled on site. The store requires a level and even ground or base for the installation team to bolt the store into the ground for additional security and stability.
