Invest in the Outdoor Water Area to create a rich, exciting and well-resourced outdoor water area for EYFS and KS1 children to enjoy.
Designed by our experienced curriculum team, the outdoor shed contains a wide range of water play resources to develop critical thinking, problem solving and physical skills as children pour, store and transport water.
The outdoor classroom compact shed contains a rich range of open-ended resources to develop children’s critical thinking as they work collaboratively to collect and transport water using a range of bowls, trugs, jerry cans, and smaller containers such as pots and pouring jugs. Children will enjoy using the guttering stands to explore water movement, positioning the guttering at different heights to explore and compare speed and motion.
Encourage creativity by challenging children to create pieces of water art or practice mark making on the wall or playground floor using the buckets and range of painting brushes. This activity supports children to explore cause and effect along with exploring size and texture as they use the different tools.
Just like with the indoor water area, early years children are naturally drawn to the sensory experiences that water play offers and will be a firm favourite in the outdoor classroom.
Resources are stored in one outdoor shed using accessible outdoor containers, supporting children to develop independence, confidence, and the ability to plan and carry out their own ideas. With secure door and floor bolts and a self-sprung lid, children quickly learn how to open the shed and access what they need with ease.

The compact shed is weather resistant and made of high-quality recyclable plastic. It provides a dry and protected space within the outdoor classroom to efficiently store the outdoor water resources and it will be assembled on site by our experienced team.

The Compact Store is assembled on site. The store requires a level and even ground or base for the installation team to bolt the store into the ground for additional security and stability.
