This collection supports meaningful early schematic play, particularly for children demonstrating a transporting schema. Using the push and pull carts to fill, carry and relocate resources helps children develop their understanding of space, movement and positional language. Through moving objects from place to place, children explore ideas about distance, direction and containment, laying foundations for later spatial reasoning and problem-solving.
As children push, pull and ride, they strengthen core muscles, develop balance and refine gross motor skills.
