Invest in the Outdoor Construction Area to create a rich, exciting and well-resourced outdoor construction area for EYFS and KS1 children to enjoy the physical challenges that building and constructing offers.
Designed by our experienced curriculum team, the outdoor shed contains the complete construction resource collection, to promote physical development and collaboration. The resource collection contains a range of building crates, building vehicles resources and den building resources. Children will love using the set of baskets and pulleys to create their own functional lifting systems, an excellent team work and problem solving activity for both early years and KS1 children to master!
The set is completed with a child-sized children’s sack cart to support children to independently lift, load and transport resources to their desired spot in the outdoor area.
The construction resource collection is an excellent range of open-ended resources to develop children’s critical thinking as they work collaboratively to build cars, ships and dens using the building crates, wooden planks & poles and den covers. Children will develop their gross motor and problem solving skills as they explore how to stack, balance and build to create different constructions. Combine with the set of steering wheels included to encourage imaginative play.
Resources are organised within two outdoor sheds. One shed contains the plastic building crates while the second contains all other building and construction resources. The sheds uses accessible outdoor storage to support children in developing independence, confidence, and the ability to plan and carry out their own ideas. With secure door and floor bolts and a self-sprung lid, children quickly learn how to open the shed and access what they need with ease.

The compact sheds are weather resistant and made of high-quality recyclable plastic. They provide a dry and protected space within the outdoor classroom to efficiently store the outdoor construction resources and it will be assembled on site by our experienced team.

Installation Guidance:
The Compact Store is assembled on site. The store requires a level and even ground or base for the installation team to bolt the store into the ground for additional security and stability.
